Gulf be gone



The Gulf at the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and Woodhaven Blvd, which had been listed in years past as the cheapest place to find gas in the area is no more.
No plans have been filed thus far with DOB and as far as I can tell, it's not for sale. I'm sure some remediation would have to take place in order to convert it into anything other than a gas station. It's in an M1-1 district, which only allows for light manufacturing or retail.

Dunkin Donuts, 7-11, Popeyes ??
This is an extremely busy area now with so many national chains opening up here.
There is another gas station just one block away in Metropolitan Av that also closed and something is being built in its place. Retail/Food is the only way to go at this very popular destination...and the owners want to take advantage of it. Traffic is a nightmare as it is....

There are two BINs and addresses for the property, 90-02 and 90-04. If you look at the 90-02 address this comes up:
