Ouch!

From CBS 2:

A Rikers Island correction officer had a portion of his apparently thumb bitten off by a inmate and two other officers suffered injuries after a violent brawl broke out Thursday night in the prison, officials from the New York City Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association said Friday.

According to the COBA, the incident happened about 10:45 p.m. Thursday inside the Anna M. Kross Center. It’s not clear what led to the altercation, but COBA officials said one officer suffered lacerations to his hand and another was treated for palpitations. The third officer’s thumb was bitten off and severed at the knuckle, they reported.

All three were rushed to Bellevue Hospital where they were treated and released. Their identities were not revealed.

They should have beat the living daylights of this inmate savage. A beating to render him mentally incapacitated for life.
